NEW! iPad Only: I have no sound!.
We've had several reports of no sound on iPad recently for people using the 'orientation lock' setting, we're looking into the issue. In the meantime, this has fixed the problem for everyone so far:
1. Go to settings and set the side switch to mute mode (not lock rotation)
2. Slide the switch to unmuted on the side of the iPad (no red dot)
3. Go to the app and confirm that the sound works
4. You *should* now be able to go back to the settings and put the ipad back in orientation lock mode and use it normally.
iOS: The App won't start, or something just isn't right!.
When something goes wrong, the best bet is usually to restart:
Restart your iPhone Do this by holding the power button on top of the phone until you see "slide to power off". Give it 10 seconds or so to turn off, then you can turn it back on.
Restart your iPad To restart the iPad, press the hold and home buttons at the same time. The hold button is on the top right corner of the iPad's case. The home button is the circular button just under the screen on the center of the iPad. Hold these buttons down until the screen flashes and goes dark. You can then restart the iPad by holding down the Hold button until the Apple icon appears.
iOS: I have no sound!.
Check your mute switch.
Check the volume (your phone/touch has different volume settings for the ringer, music, and for apps).
iOS: I want to reinstall the app.
You can resync your phone in iTunes to reinstall an app.
You can also click "BUY" again in the app store. Apple won't charge you twice, but will prompt you to download again.
Android: App won't install.
This is a Google Market issue that occurs with all apps. The best way to fix is to: go to:
Settings >> Applications >> Download Manager
and/or
Settings >> Applications >> Market
And find and press the clear cache or clear data button.
Then try and reinstall by going back to the Market application and hitting the install button under "My Downloads".
